How to limit vibration

According to cambridge dictionary, vibration is the continuous quick, slight shaking movement.

Vibration exists everywhere in our daily life. The most obvious vibration is the vibration of washing machines. There are also vibrations from other machines such as generators, motors, air compressors, fitness equipments. The noises are too loud sometimes. The question is: how to reduce the vibrations and protect floor?

For rooms installed with electric generators or motors, the effective way is to either lay thick rubber floor or install anti vibration pads or underlayment in subfloor. The rubber floor should be rubber rolls to make sure the floor is as flat as possible. If the floor finish is granite floor or laminate floor, thick rubber underlayment or pads are recommended to be used in subfloor. The high quality pads are rubber cork pads which is used together with plywood panels.

As for the vibration of small machines, the easiest way is to lay a rubber mat under the machines. The rubber mat is hard and thick to reduce vibrations with good performance. As a professional manufacturere, we can customize the mat size for washing machines, pumps, generators, treadmill.
