The vibrations from sound focal point or impact on floor finish is transmitted through air to the upstair space. And the vibrations can cause echoes in other rooms by hard consequential system including wall, flooring, girder, pillar. 

How to reduce vibrations

To reduce the pressure of bass and impact, not only can we change the focal point of vibrations, but also take measures to reduce the vibrations of ultralow frequency and impact in the process of transmitting vibrations. Anti-vibration pad is one of the measures. The pads and glasswool will form cavity to insulate sound.

We have rubber cork pads to reduce vibrations transmitted from floor through ceiling.

Rubber cork pad

The pad is rubber granules mixed with cork granules in high density. It is odorless and eco friendly. It can bear weight as heavy as 3,000kgs per square meter. 

It is widely used for bars, stadiums, electric equipment rooms, etc for dampening impact and reducing vibrations. 

We have our own facilities to produce the pads. Thickness from 20mm to 50mm is workable. 

Sizes can be customized. We can produce round cork rubber pad and square cork rubber pad.
